Como saber se tem uma rede WiFi de 2,4 GHz ou 5 GHz

All ismartgate Smart Devices work on 2.4GHz WiFi network frequency only.

Look at your available Networks

1. Open your WiFi menu on your smartphone or computer and check if there are multiple networks with your WiFi's name.

2. Look for networks with similar names, such as:
- "home_wifi" and "home_wifi_5G"
- "home_wifi" and "home_wifi 5.0"
-"home_wifi" and "home_wifi5"
- "home_wifi 2G" and "home_wifi"

3. If you see multiple similar networks, select the one with either 2G, 2GHz, or nothing extra in the name. This is likely the 2.4GHz WiFi network.

If that doesn’t work, try the following suggestions. Checking through a computer is generally the easiest method.

For iOS

iOS devices don’t provide details about the network band, so we suggest using a computer to check. Follow the instructions for either Apple or Windows computers.

If you don’t have a computer, here are some alternatives for determining your network band on an iOS device:

• Download a WiFi analyzer app from the App Store.
• Access your router settings to find the information. Refer to your router’s manufacturer or user manual for detailed instructions on how to do this.

For Apple Computer

1. Hold down the Option/Alt key and click on the WiFi icon located in the top navigation bar.
2. This action will reveal detailed information about your Wi-Fi connection, displayed in grey. Among this information, you'll find the channel your Wi-Fi is currently utilizing.
3. The channel designation will indicate whether it's operating on the 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency band.

For Android

1. From Notification Panel press and hold the WiFi icon until you enter WiFi settings screen.

2. Select the network properties (tap the gear icon or menu icon).

3. Depending on the Android version check:

• • Read the “Frequency” setting – shows as 2.4 or 5GHz.
  • Read the “Network speed” setting – if speed is over 400 Mbps then you are using 5GHz network.

For Windows

1. Connect to the WiFi network.
2. Open your networks panel from your taskbar (click the WiFi icon in the bottom right).
3. Click on “Properties” of your WiFi network.

4. In the new window that opens, scroll all the way down to “Properties”.
5. “Network Band” will either say 2.4GHz or 5GHz.
